How to Write Better Prompts for AI
Follow these five tips to get better results from AI:
1. Be Clear: Don't use vague words. Broad questions get general answers; specific questions get detailed answers.
Unclear: "How do I start a garden?"
Better: "What are the first 3 things to do when starting a vegetable garden?"
Unclear: "What are good places in Japan?"
Better: "Where should I go in Japan in spring if I like nature?"
2. Keep It Simple: Use easy-to-understand words. Break big questions into smaller ones.
Big question: "Tell me all about how wine is made."
Smaller questions: "What are the steps to make wine?", "How does wine ferment?", "What makes wine taste different?"
3. Give Background: Put all the important info in each question (Coral AI doesn't remember past answers).
4. Use Brackets: Put special instructions in brackets.
"[Say this in casual Spanish.] How are you?"
5. Try Again: If you don't like the answer, change your question and ask again. Try making it longer or shorter.
Always check important facts by looking at the source page under the answer.
